A new Financial Controller is coming to my company, he is an American and was an accountant before. In fact, his working style is quite different with other team members; he is talkative, willing to share, and most importantly, more respectful... Within the last two months, we had a lot of time working together, recently we just finish the preparation of the info pack for the coming quarterly meeting; hope that the big boss and others would like our product.....
I feel sick these days; largely due to work overnight last Wednesday, then stay uptill 12am last Thursday; but nothing could replace the satisfaction of compile the info pack on time.......
The big boss recommended us to use the Google Desktop long time ago, but not until recently I have got the time to install and configure that. In fact, it is quite powerful: First, you can create your own RSS feed (so I put in all the Bloomberg, Reuters, Xanga......web clips on that). Second, it can seach email faster than using the seach in-build in Outlook. Strong recommend to try this.
There were still many works awaiting me; still didn't speak a word with the boss; still got no chance to build the financial model template; still didn't have time to help mum to research good stocks.....
But most importantly, I got lost about where will I be......
Got a chance yesterday to meet with some E&F friends, long time no see.

We met at TST MTR Hengseng at 730pm. But only few of the proposed members came: organizer Polly, Lauren, newcomer Shirley and David. Fine, all the boys have gone....

Lauren felt terribly upset as Victor can't come, I think they should declare their status to us.....
Note that most of them would like to / already changed their job. It's time for me to consider!
Shirley is now working in PWC, PRC taxation. Great! another accountant.....
